# Power up Hero

In CATTOS, you can power up your heroes through three distinct options: Leveling Up, Breakthrough, and Ascending. Each requires strategic resource use to enhance your team’s combat strength.

### Option 1: Leveling Up

Use Sushi to level up your hero, increasing their stats and unlocking new abilities.

* Stat Boosts: Improves health, attack, defense, and critical hit chance for better battle performance.
* New Abilities: Unlocks unique skills at specific levels, like crowd control or powerful attacks, expanding tactical options.

### Option 2: Breakthrough

At specific level milestones, spend $CATTOS to break through, enhancing hero stats and $CATTOS earn rate.

* Stat Increases: Significantly boosts base stats, making heroes more formidable.
* Higher $CATTOS Earnings: Increases the rate of $CATTOS generation, fueling further progression.

### Option 3: Ascending

Merge heroes of the same rarity using hero shards and $CATTOS to upgrade their star rating (0 to 5 stars).

* Stat Enhancements: Each star level greatly improves stats, with larger gains at higher stars.
* Improved $CATTOS Earn Rate: Boosts $CATTOS generation for greater resource accumulation.
