In CATTOS, strengthening your feline heroes involves two key progression paths: leveling up and star rating upgrades. Both require strategic resource management to maximize your team's combat effectiveness.

1. Leveling Up: Unlocking New Abilities and Skills

Every hero in your CATTOS team gains experience points (EXP) through battles and other in-game activities. As a hero accumulates EXP, they grow stronger. However, simply accumulating EXP isn't enough to increase a hero's level. Once a hero reaches 100 EXP, you must spend $CATTOS to level them up. This investment unlocks significant power boosts:

⦁ Increased Base Stats: Leveling up directly increases a hero's base stats, such as health, attack, defense, and critical hit chance. These enhancements directly improve their performance in battle.

⦁ New Abilities: Many heroes gain access to entirely new abilities at specific levels. These new abilities may offer unique tactical advantages, such as crowd control, damage over time, or powerful single-target attacks. These abilities fundamentally alter your strategic options, opening up new approaches to combat.

2. Star Rating Upgrades: Achieving Peak Performance

Beyond leveling up, players can significantly increase a hero's potential by upgrading their star rating. Each hero begins at 0 stars and can be upgraded up to 5 stars. This process, however, demands both in-game resources and $CATTOS:

⦁ Hero Shards: Obtaining the necessary hero shards requires strategic play and resource management. Shards are often earned through completing specific challenges, winning battles, or opening certain types of chests. The rarity and number of shards required increase with each star level.

⦁ $CATTOS Fee: A $CATTOS fee is required for each star upgrade, making this a significant investment. This cost reflects the substantial power increase granted by each star level.

⦁ Stat Boosts: Each star upgrade significantly increases a hero's base stats, granting them substantially increased power. The increase per star level is not linear; later star upgrades offer even more substantial stat increases.

⦁ Potential for Unique Bonuses (Future Potential): Future updates might introduce additional benefits for higher-star heroes, such as unique abilities, visual enhancements, or passive stat boosts not found in lower-star versions.
