# $CATTOS Token Utility

The **$CATTOS** token is the core currency of the **CATTOS** ecosystem, driving player progression, team enhancement, and strategic gameplay. Here are its key utilities:

**1. Leveling Up Heroes & Main Character**

Players earn EXP by using **$SUSHI**, but once a hero or main character reaches **100% EXP**, **$CATTOS** is required to level them up. This ensures progression while maintaining a balanced economy.

**2. Star Upgrades & Hero Enhancements**

Increasing a hero’s **star rating** from **0 to 5 stars** requires **hero shards** and **$CATTOS** as an upgrade fee. Higher star ratings unlock significant power boosts and enhance abilities.

**3. Unlocking Auto Tap-to-Earn Features**

Players can use **$CATTOS** to purchase special items that enable **auto tap-to-earn**, allowing them to accumulate rewards even when not actively playing. This provides a passive income mechanism within the game.

**4. In-Game Marketplace (Future Utility)**

A future **player-to-player marketplace** may allow trading & rent of heroes, items, or skins using **$CATTOS**. This will create a dynamic economy where players can buy and sell assets, adding more value to rare collectibles.

**5. Staking & Passive Rewards (Future Utility)**

Players may be able to **stake $CATTOS** to earn passive rewards, including exclusive NFT skins, in-game benefits, or additional tokens. This incentivizes long-term holding and strengthens the token economy.

**6. Special Event Participation & Exclusive Purchases**

Limited-time events (such as future PvP Tournament) may require **$CATTOS** for entry or participation. Additionally, exclusive skins, heroes, and in-game boosts could be available for purchase using **$CATTOS**, adding more strategic depth and exclusivity to the economy.

Players can **spend $CATTOS** to purchase powerful, time-limited boosts that enhance their gameplay experience:

* **EXP Boosts** – Gain experience faster for both heroes and the main character, accelerating progression.
* **Faster Hero Cooldowns** – Reduce skill cooldown times, allowing heroes to use their abilities more frequently in battles.
* **Increased Drop Rates** – Enhance the chances of acquiring rare items, hero shards, or exclusive loot from battles.
* **Tap Damage Multipliers** – Temporarily increase tap damage to deal more damage per tap and defeat enemies quicker.
